Over the past 10 years I have sharpened my abilities as a creative leader, a dedicated teammate, and a detail-oriented problem solver within the media production industry.
On my last major podcast project I served as a lead producer and reporter for Operation: Tradebom, an Apple Original podcast about the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. During the development phase, I created the treatment which initially helped sell the podcast series to Apple for exclusive financing. Once production began, I supported the team in various ways: I scripted much of our host's narration, conducted tentpole interviews, edited and sound designed several episodes in Protools, conducted voiceover casting and directing, and managed our archival research and acquisition. Since the release of the series in early 2023, it has been recognized by The Economist, The Signal Awards, and The LA Press Club’s National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Awards.
On my previous job as showrunner for a scripted children’s musical adventure podcast, Musicland Stories, I harnessed my ability to lead through both action and effective communication. I began this project by conceiving the creative vision for the series (48 episodes). Once production began in full, I was tasked with managing an internal staff of eight writers, editors, producers, and mixers. Key to this project was also the daily demand to multitask successfully through both creative and logistical problem solving.
At my core, I’m someone who wants to leave an indelible impression on people by creating captivating stories using uncharted ideas and points of view.
